Cormorant Fishermen - Two Brothers. Xingping. Whilst most Cormorant Fisherman in China, and especially around Guilin, are fakes for the tourists, these two guys are the real deal.
They only fish 2-3 times per week now, to put food on their families' table as other fishing methods have usurped their traditional birds and nets.

Bhaktapur : Trainee Monks, Nepal. Young trainee monks at school. A moment after this photo was taken they burst out laughing and gace me the 'Thumbs UP' sign !

Kyrgyzstan - Song Kul - Kok Boru. Kyrgyzstan - Kok Boru at Song Kul Lake. A rider and steers his amount away from his competition. The blood you see is from the dead goat used in Kok Boru.

China : Xing Ping Cormorant Fisherman. One of those two awesome brothers, genuine fishermen not actors, I photographed.

XiQi Tundra - Mongolian Horses. An incredible 8 day trip to one of the coldest regions of China. Our warmest day was -30C and coldest -50C !

I waited over 90 mins, tripod and camera at the ready, for this shot.

Myanmar : Bagan - Young Monk. It is almost impossible to describe some of the remote, least visited, temples in Bagan.

Cambodia : Angkor Wat Sunrise. Angkor Wat is unmissable. The whole Angkor area is unmissable and without a doubt sunrise at Angkor Wat must be seen no matter how many people gather to watch !
Tip : get there 60-90 mins before sunrise and not only will you be alone but some of the best light is actually before sunrise.

Great Wall : Gubeikou Sunset, Northern China. There are the parts of the Great Wall that tourists visit and then there's the rest, Dilapidated and ignored. By far the best to hike and camp - but can be dangerous and not for the faint of heart if you fear climbing or heights !

Kyrgyzstan - Song Kul - Rider on Floor. Kyrgyzstan - Kok Boru at Song Kul Lake. A rider and horse have fallen under pressure. The rider remounted without any injury to horse or man. The blood you see is from the dead goat used in Kok Boru.
